Throughout our interviews, Jane emphasized the importance of her support networks, including her family, mentors, and peers, highlighting their crucial role in her journey:

"I think when it comes to my support system, I think that they're very understanding of my situation. For the most part, like, my mom knows that when it’s homework time, it's like homework time ... when it comes to like friends and my boyfriend, I think they pretty much understand that, like, I can't go out. So they're like, well, whenever you have time, like, you know, just let us know when you can go out" (Interview 2).

In addition to support from family and friends, Jane recognized the impact of campus resources in helping her transition to UCLA.

She states:

"So, when I was in community college, I didn't really utilize my college counselors as much as I should, or even like the transfer center... But now, working at the transfer center, I see how much they actually do for students. They really help with the transition and make sure we have the resources we need." (Interview 2).
